Staying in a Homestay is the best way to make new friends and adjust to the new surroundings. Not only does it save the trouble of spending time looking for appropriate accommodation, homestay families can help students to familiarise themselves with public transport, their surroundings, shopping and provide a general understanding of important things about living in Brisbane.
COSTS
Homestay fees range from AU $240 - $250 per week.
There is a placement fee of AU$100 (inclusive of Good and Service Tax - GST) that covers the student for a three month period.
